Today, with all the melted snow, Will and Olive Clemons and I thought we'd check out the birds at Ridgefield NWR. When we got there, we found the gate was locked at the top of the entrance canyon. Does anyone know why, or how long 'til it will be open? We walked down to the railroad tracks and the bridge, and found the road completely clear of snow with no sign of debris. I am off work this entire next week and have been planning to bird there, at least some of those days.

Any info will be appreciated.
