Hi all..our CBC on Saturday was mostly mild weather with a high of 48 and
scattered showers, though the area around Hoquiam had fog. With one report
left to receive we have a total so far of 140 species! That's a really good
number of birds for Grays Harbor. Some of the highlights:

83 Red-throated Loons

1 Short-tailed Shearwater

49 Greater White-fronted Geese

136 Brant

11 Snow Geese

2 Black Oystercatchers

100+ Wilson's Snipe

! Ancient Murrelet

6 Marbled Murrelets

1 Townsend's Solitare

3 Gray-crowned Rosy Finches (2 seen by Art and Alex Wang in Area 5, and 1
seen by a team in Area 1!)

1 Mountain Chickadee found at a feeder in Hoquiam by Ruth Sullivan, Lonnie
Sommers and Jim Pruske

Thanks to all who participated and made my first solo compiling job so much
fun! Now for the work part.
