Hi All, I am a regular attendee, several days a week at the Puyallup YMCA, and EVERY TIME I drive down the highway that leads to Orting, where I turn off towards Puyallup there are always Scrub Jays there flying around. It is rare I do not see them. Has been this way for well over a year now. I have found very few serious injuries for bird, when the feeder is a few inches away from the window, it gives them a focal point and they automatically slow down to land. The only bumps I get are from fighting Siskins. Thirdly, I have several hundred Siskins. It is an infestation now. The snow melted, and exposed all kinds of seed, and they are like a swarm of bees here, having taken over. Anyone wanting to contribute to their food supply, let me know, otherwise we will be living on oatmeal at the rate they are eating. I am not feeding them after this however, so they will hopefully move on soon! Also, on the scope. My husband has decided that we are getting the Nikon Fieldscope 82 straight bodied, hopefully soon. I appreciate all the input we recieved, and almost went with the Pentax, but I like the set up for the camera adapter, and have always loved my Nikon scope that I have now. So it will be the kitchen scope and I will have my good one soon. Thanks for all the information. I could NOT have made a good decision without all of your help! Vicki Biltz
