Valerie -- the Puget Sounds Bird Observatory runs several activities banding
birds. these include several stations during the summer months (one on
McChord AFB), and some winter color banding stations (tho these are in north
Seattle, a bit of a hike from Olympia). you can get more information at
www.pugetsoundbirds.org, then click on "projects" and browse the options.
