Howdy,

I noticed the bushtits had cleaned out the suet feeder
on the same day that I had to replace the filled-up
fat-collector can in the fridge. Aha!

The birds dug right in the next day despite finding
cylindrical bacon fat instead of square suet cakes.

I'm giddy with the recycling of it all...

BTW, the crows around our yard are fond of solid pieces
of gristle and animal fat.I guess they take the place
of a family dog in that regard.
