Hello Tweeters and all birders,
Since Patrick's passing I discover my own yardbirds now,but all the birds I
discover are already on Patrick's list.Patrick spend so much time when we
was not birding looking for birds in our yard.He went as far to going on the
roof where he could see quite way around and seeing in to the sky.The birds
what I found new for me was the Winter Wren and the Harry Woodpecker what
is quite rare here. But now I having the Pileated Woodpecker coming every day
least once some days twice to the Suet feeder.I took some photos what I
going to put on my Website later. One of the photos show a big clump of suet
in his large bill. When he is finnish with feeding he flies across to the
telephone pole and shops big pieces of wood what is still laying on the
sidewalk. He made his big mark on top of the pole.We had this birds
before, but never every day,so I feel so fortune to have this huge Woodpecker
as a regular visitor.
