Greetings -

For any of you who are Thurston County Crow aficionados, yesterday
(Friday, 1 Feb.) at about 3:20 pm, while driving south on Delphi Road
(between Black Lake Blvd and Alpine Road), I saw a flock of ~150
American Crow milling around on a generally south-southwest flight
course. I live ~1 mile southeast of where I made this sighting, and at
this time of day frequently see flights of 20 or 30 or 40 Crow on about
the same heading.

It would seem that these Crows have a staging area and/or a night roost
somewhere between Black Lake and Capitol Peak. Any comments?
