Hi Tweets -
The Harris's Sparrow was seen by several people today, in a variety
of locations near where it has been described in recent posts. I
believe at the beginning of the day, it was right by the road at the
slough [on 100th St., ~ 1/4 mi east of W.Snoqualmie Valley Rd.]. I
saw it later in the morning around 9:30-10:00, a bit further east.
There's a driveway on the south side of the road, marked with a bunch
of free lawnmowers at its entrance. The zono flock was bathing in the
puddles in the long driveway for quite a while. In addition to the
Harris's, I had looks at 1 or possibly 2 White-throated Sparrows. Add
to that the larger numbers of White-crowned & Golden-crowned
Sparrows, and it was a 4-Zono day in one spot!

Good birding,
