Today the Wenatchee Audubon group had their annual Waterville Plateau
field trip. Snow and fog finally forced the group down to the Columbia
River and the Wells Wildlife area. No Gyrs or Snowy Owls; a few Snow
Buntings and assorted raptors. But, at the area known as Shrable Corner
we found 5 Western Bluebirds, inc. 2 males. Beautiful in the light snow.
Meredith Spencer P.S. I'm thinking spring no matter what the Ground
Hog predicted!
