this week's edition of Birds in the News is now

of a male wood duck in full breeding regalia kindly
shared by Dave Rintoul for you to enjoy. Not only
that, but it also has a really interesting link to a
BirdCam focused on a female great horned owl who is
nesting atop the roof of the Computer Science building
at Cal State, Bakersfield. It is interesting to watch;
