OK, no exciting sightings here or anything, but my Seattle backyard is abuzz with birds this minute: 50 starlings probing in the grass, a flicker sitting in the birch above the suet feeder, several juncos, a few chickadees, and two birds I have NEVER seen in my yard before: five or six American Goldfinches and a pair of Purple Finches. I am dazzled!!!!
