Hi Tweeters,

Today around noon, I visited the location in Carnation with the
previously reported Harris's Sparrow. There were about 7 or 8 other
birders there. Some were successful in finding the bird, others were
not. I was somewhat successful. My goal was to get a better picture
than I did 10 years ago when I photographed one in Magnolia, Seattle.
I did not achieve this goal, but just seeing one for the second time
in my life was worth the trip.

There were probably 100 sparrows; mostly Golden-crowned, many
White-crowned, some Song and Juncos, a few Towhees, and one or two
Lincolns. After chasingp the flocks, that move around a field about
10 acres in size, I caught a quick glimpse of the Harris.
