Subject: [Tweeters] Eurasian Wigeon at Montake Fill today

There were large numbers of American Wigeons at the Montlake Fill this morning. Among them was at least one Eurasian Wigeon, probably more. Conditions were very windy and the ducks were all bunching up. Two Bald Eagles kept scattering this flock, so it was hard to tell how many Eurasian Wigeons I was actually seeing. These Eagles hunted all the time I was there, they also scattered over 100 Buffleheads out on Union Bay. Very spectacular!

Among the Wigeons was a single Northern Pintail, and in the main pond were some Ruddy Ducks.
