We read several bird sites each day. This is posted on one of them. It explains how a male Anna's makes a chirping sound with it's tail. Maybe this is common knowledge to others on this forum but we had never heard about it ourselves.

If this is common knowledge or similar articles has been posted before we apologize. For those who are ignorant of this concept, or want to learn more, this is a good article at this link.
