Tweets,

This morning I saw an adult Red-shouldered Hawk at the west end of Valley Rd. Valley Rd. runs west from Dodge Valley Rd. north of the North Fork of the Skagit River.

The hawk was sitting on a utility pole beyond the end of the public road, where Valley Rd. turns into a private access to a house and farm buildings. Beyond the buildings is a riparian area bordering Sullivan Slough, which runs north-south just east of La Conner.

Good birding, Bob
