Hello Tweeters,
The first think this morning looking if the Am Goldfinches are still
here,There was only 4 Goldfinches left all day,so there are wandering
around some place.
But at 9.10 AM the Pileated flew in on to the Suet feeder,he stayed only 15
minutes and than flew to the Telephone pole where he been before,The hole
is getting large and most of the time it seems that he was resting.I watched
and saw this bird climbing up to the top and made some calls,presuming
calling the female in.This bird stayed on this pole for over one hour.He
returned at 2.15 PM this afternoon,but this time there where two birds,both
where on my Birch tree.There only stayed 15 minutes,but I believe that this
two birds are pairing up for breeding.It is good that this birds was helping
me to over come the grieving over Patrick what is coming on some time and
the lonely feeling to being so alone.
