The Red-shouldered Hawk first seen on Sat. by Bob Sundstrom was still there
this morning, but it comes and goes. Yesterday it was seen at 8:30 by Joel
Brady-Power and at 1:30 by Wayne Weber, but missed by me at 9-10 & 11:30-12.
It was not there when I arrived today at 8:30 but finally showed up at 10:10
again on a power pole behind and between the house at the end of the road
and the house to the south.

What a beautiful bird! It was perched side on to me so I could see the
reddish face and breast, the black-&-white striped wings and tail, and the
heavily white spotted mantle.
