It's definitely spring - the parrots have returned to Seward Park. Today in the trees just east of the upper parking lot three parrots were being gently bullied by a group of crows. The crows weren't really in mobbing mode; there was none of the big swooping and vocalizing that one sees when they're after an owl or a hawk. Instead, one or two crows would quietly fly in and perch really close to a parrot. The parrot would squawk and flutter off to a new branch and the crows would watch for a moment or two and then follow suit. It was quite amusing.

Also Black-capped Chickadees doing their "fee bee" call, Anna's Hummingbirds displaying, Song Sparrows singing.
