Hey tweets, just a quick note about some good birds I saw in SW
Washington today and yesterday:
Clark's Grebe on the Palix River near the Bay City turnoff
White-throated Sparrow at the Julia Butler Hansen reserve, on the road
that parallels the highway - also saw my very first and only Columbian
White-tailed Deer there.
White-tailed Kite at Julia Butler Hansen
5 American Pipits in a tree at Julia Butler Hansen - I can't remember
ever seeing American Pipits perched so high before; usually when I see
them they're either strutting on the ground or flying off into the
distance.
Really close looks at White-breasted Nuthatches in the Carty Unit of
Ridgefield, feeding on Garry Oaks, naturally. - Connie, Seattle
