Got a better look at hummer here in Puyallup yesterday. Not much of a gorget.
but i only see it in the early morning in bad light. I think it's roosting here in my yard - but i have not seen it
at a feeder.
It is my understanding that a "second Year" male - ie - one born last year should have undergone his molt
by now and look like an adult male. So I'm puzzled.
