After voting in the Primary last night, I walked along the powerlines on Renton Hill. I heard a Western Screech Owl with it's rapid hooing, almost sounded dovelike to me. A field guide described it being like a bouncing ball. It was a neat experience.

Renton Hill has many names, sometimes called Benson Hill. It is south of the Cedar River from the Renton Highlands. This long powerlines area runs east-west. It is now being used as a mountain bike trail. It runs parallel to Puget Drive, being just to the north of it. It is also up against Rolling Hills and is not far from Fairwood. There is a large blue watertank on the south side of Puget Drive in this area.
