Hi Tweets,
I had an extra 15 mins Thursday, so I dropped by the Bellevue Botanic
Gardens to see what I could see. I found a thicket and was pishing for
sparrows when my attention was attracted by something at the very edge
of my peripheral vision. Startling to be scrutinized by a glowing male
Anna's hummingbird hovering 18 inches from my face. I was too surprised
to pish, and he soon went back to sunbathing.
A very fine 30 seconds, indeed.
