Subject: [Tweeters] Snoqualmie Valley Saturday: Harris's Sparrow and Swans

I did a quick drive to West Snoqualmie Valley Rd. today to look for the
Harris's Sparrow. I finally found the bird on the newly graveled road where
the lawn mowers used to be. I also saw a flock of about 50 swans in a
distant field a mile or so south of the Harris's Sparrow spot. I didn't have
a scope but there were a lot of dark juveniles which suggests they were all
or mostly Trumpeters.

Not a half bad day to be out birding. ;)
