I had a Snowy Owl (looked like an adult female to me - see what you think) just a couple miles west of Creston along Hwy 2. It was in a field just south of the hwy and just west of Roby Rd.

Some pictures at http://canondigitalslrs.com

A nurse I work with said she had seen an owl of the same description in the same area a couple of days ago. So, hopefully it will be hanging around there.

If you go looking for it and you don't see it right away, try going up Roby Rd. a ways as there is a depression that can't be seen from Hwy 2, but is easily seen from Roby Rd.

Hope Sunday will be good birding for all,
