Well, sooner or later we all get stumped; today it's my turn.
I had a BOP eyeing the back yard duck flock today so I borrowed the
daughter's camera for a shot. The problem I'm having is that the bird flew
away before I could really get a good look at the head. By size, it looked
like an immature male Goshawk. By head shape in my very poor photo it's a
Big immature Coopers. I have both in the area this time of the year.
Distance from the photo was about 125 yards and off hand, hence the less
than clear photo.
