Tweeters,

Had a little time to venture out this afternoon. At the Skagit Game Range on Fir Island, off Wylie Rd, in Skagit Co. I observed 3 White-throated Sparrows. All tan striped individuals, 2 of which were juveniles. They were just west of the boat launch on the dike trail, about 50 yards from the launch. They were feeding on the dike itself with about 15-18 Golden-crowned Sparrows. Also in the vicinity, both Kinglets, Chickadees, Bewick's Wren, Song Sparrows, Juncos, Towhees and Robins.

Later, near La Conner, at the usual spot since the discovery of the RSHA, off of Valley Rd., I bumped into Steve and Connie Pink who had the Red-shouldered Hawk in their scope. It was sitting on a telephone pole further west but seen well with scopes.
