Drove the loop at Ridgefield NWR today with Anne Kahle. Spent about an hour. Water was still high. A pair of River Otters were near the southern end of the loop. Saw 41 species. Wood Duck female was in the first pond on the right of the tour loop and a first for my Clark Co. yearlist. Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk was in se corner of the loop. Missed swallows and no Rough-legged Hawk. A pair of White-breasted Nuthatches were busy along the paved pathway to the photo blind along with a small flock of Golden-crowned Kinglets.
