Hello Tweets,

this week's edition of Birds in the News is available
for you to read. It features a dramatic image of king
penguins flying underwater;

I also found another image of critically endangered
spoonbill sandpipers for you to enjoy;

And last, but not least, is the newest addition to my
blog, the weekly issue of Ian Paulson's "Birdbooker
Report" which presents information about new, reissued
and soon-to-be-published books about birds and natural
history themes;

This report is scheduled to appear every Sunday at
noon EST. I am still changing the formatting of this
report, and will be including thumbnail images of the
book covers along with a short summary of each book,
beginning next week. If you can think of other
features that you'd like to see incorporated into this
report, let me know. I am also interested to include
an appropriate banner at the top of each report, so if
any of you wish to use your artistic/photoshop skills
to create one specifically for this report, I'd be
very excited about this, so please contact me for
pixel width and either Ian or me for some ideas.

good birding to everyone and thanks for reading my
humble blog,
