Tweeters,

Just before West Alaska Ave., as you are leaving metro Roslyn on Hwy.
903 toward Ronald, there is some sort of berry bush right beside the
road on the right. Late this AM the Robins were going crazy there.
There were also a few Cedar Waxwings and at least two Bohemians.

I drove another 12 miles up the road to see if it was possible to walk
up the French Cabin Creek road. It seems that in the winter this the
French Cabin Sno-Park Groomed Trail System. Walking is easy, as long
as you stay on the road. I went from 2200 feet to 3300 in just over 3
miles. Nice weather over there and some different birds.
The highlights.

Pine Siskin Came upon a flock every 15 minutes
or so up to 2800 feet.
Pine Grosbeak Two high in a Doug Fir not far up the
road.
Red-breasted Nuthatch Common
Mountain Chickadee A flock of 20 at 3100 feet
Red Crossbills A flock of 20 at 3100 feet
White-winged Crossbill A single at 2700 feet.
