It's been a long spell since I was able to get away and all the postings
from Okanogin and Douglas counties has had me drooling. So finally, I spent
four days and got some hits and had a lot of misses, a little sunshine and a
lot of other stuff. Thanks to all the ones who post and especially some fine
directions from Ruth Sullivan, I have a few good photos. As most know, I
don't keep track of all I see but let my pictures be my bird list. But for
those who keep track I should say that I saw NO B. Waxwings, WW Crossbills,
P. Grosbeaks or Redpolls. And I did look as these were all target birds this
trip. I think, in spite of the snow left on the ground, it's going to be an
early spring.
