Tree frogs are singing loud and clear in my area, too. A welcome
sign. What is a bit unusual is that the varied thrushes have been
singing up a storm for about a week. They usually start singing
slowly in mid-March coming into their peak through April. I have
quite a few of them so they can really make the woods ring when they get going.
