Point Wilson, time 1000-1200, temp 46 degrees, high out going tide, high
broken clouds, wind 8-10 mph, three foot swell.
The usual cast of characters were present today at the point. While standing
at one of my favored spots to the north of the light house, a single
Violet-green Swallow flew across my field of view, flying across Admiralty
Inlet, heading in a north easterly direction. The first of its kind for me
this year. Also six Marbled Murrelets, that's more than I have seen lately
at once. Band-tailed Pigeons are returning to the feeders in my yard. The
local Cooper's Hawk is making its early morning rounds through the yard
hunting.
