happy 2008! To put a slightly different spin on
things, I am curious to know what species of bird you
saw LAST in 2007? My sighting was a male sharp-shinned
hawk, flying low over the buildings in my densely
populated NYC neighborhood -- I am always delighted
with the number and variety of raptors I see here.

techniques of three species of northern owls; snowy,
hawk and great gray owls. I think this is an
interesting video since it allows you to directly
compare the birds' different hunting styles. This
