Subject: [Tweeters] 2007 First Bird, er 2008?

Mine was unsurprisingly an Anna's hummingbird near the feeder - one of the
males has become very territorial about it. I'm going to have to move the
suet feeder further away, because the chickadees and towhees and song
sparrows are getting dive-bombed.
My garden had a very bird-poor day generally, with only a Bewick's wren and
black-capped chickadees to add to the Anna's. Some days it's alive, with
little birds in every bush; other days, they have a mass vote to go
elsewhere, and today was an 'other' day.
