They were here in large numbers, but the snow pushed them out to the lower
elevations. They should be back once things melt away to where you can see
grass again.

I was glad to see this unusual sighting of the Varied Thrush although I
am not certain where Brush Prairie is.

Former residents of my neighborhood told me that the Varied Thrush
usually shows up here about the time the robins go south, and I could
expect to see them at my feeders. But so far, not a one!

Has anyone else seen them in the Onalaska-Mossyrock area?
