It was a nice afternoon to look at gulls at the Cedar River Mouth in Renton
until the fireworks were shot at them. Fortunately quite a few landed on
the water at Gene Coulon Park where eventually (at 4:45 when it was nearly
dark) there was an adult Glaucous Gull. Other highlights included the flock
of 31 Greater White-fronted Geese, a Peregrine Falcon, and a Spotted
Sandpiper.
