I have had fewer VARIED THRUSH than normal but see a half dozen
at a time beneath the feeders here on Mt. Pleasant, in Skamania County. I
can hear others calling in the forest around our home which is at 1,200'
in the western end of the Columbia River Gorge. And I did have five in
Ridgefield, Clark County, on the Sauvie Island CBC, these birds were at
about the 80' elevation. If they didn't move down to the lowlands this
winter where are they now with the amount of snow we have had?
