i've been politely told by one of my viewing audience that being sick has
apparently made me quite forgetful, that the parkgallery calendar was not
updated for the new year or the new month...

this has been rectified. my apologies, and i promise to be more vigilant in
the future (grin)...

the new desktop calendar displays a nuttall's woodpecker found at big
morongo canyon preserve in southern california about two weeks ago (time
flies, eh?)... it can be found in the calendar gallery of the website; i
hope you enjoy :)
