Today I stopped off at Pioneer Memorial Gardens east of Moses Lake. I was
searching for owls in the thick spruce trees in this local cemetery.

I managed to locate and photograph a nice Northern Saw-whet Owl in one of
the spruce trees. While listed as a '3' bird in the county I find this
little owl a difficult to see bird within Grant County and this is only the
second sighting I have had, though I have heard them many times in Northrup
Canyon.
