Tweets - I just thought I'd give you a bit of a recap of Marymoor Park
(Redmond, King Co., WA) in 2007. We had a great year.

April 2008 will mark the start of the 15th year of my weekly surveys at
Marymoor. For most of those years, I've been joined by Brian Bell. For the
last four or five years, other people have been coming along as well, most
notably Matt Bartels. My thanks to both those guys for helping me run the
surveys.

In 2007, more people than ever before came out on my walks. Most weeks had
over 10 people, with 15 not uncommon. The pool of people that have come out
multiple times is growing. I really enjoy everyone joining me (though I
must say, I went solo on New Years Eve, and that was a great pleasure too,
in a different way). I'd like to make special mention of a core group that
was present almost every week in 2007. Thanks, all - you know who you are
(and if I try to list you, I'll get myself in trouble by leaving someone
out!)

In 2007, we (and I use that term broadly) recorded 158 species at the park.
This includes quite a few reports from other people on other days, not part
of my surveys. In fact, 11 of the 158 species were noted by people other
than myself, Brian Bell, or Matt Bartels.

Startling to me is that we added SEVEN species to the park list:
