RYAN MERRILL (104 in Kirkland W in 07) has filed the first entry of the 2008 5th Annual race and is already at 21(Jan 2) including BARROW?S GOLDENEYE!

KRISTI HEIN reports a BROWN CREEPER in the yard that would have been Number 60 for last year in Anacortes if it had showed up just one day earlier. Maybe it would just rather be Number One in the 2008 race!

I?ll be updating the press release tomorrow?there was lots of great news in the final stretch of the 2007 race.

Everyone is welcome to participate. Keep a list of birds identified in or from the yard and email yardbirdrace at yahoo.com with the list basically any time you feel like it during the course of the year?the more often, the merrier.
