I just got back from spotting the Bohemian Waxwing. Several very helpful birders helped me spot it with the flock of Cedar Waxwings and a few robins. About 15 minutes ago it was north of the old commissary that was recently torn down. There is a gravel path heading north from the commissary parking lot it was down that path and off the path to the right in a group of hawthorns and deciduous trees.

I visited Magnuson Park in search of the Bohemian Waxwing today at noon, but was unable to locate it. I searched most of the park including the area around the tennis courts, the soccer field, the playground, and part of the off-leash dog area with no luck. If anyone is able to locate it, please let me know.

While there, I photographed a Red-tailed Hawk perched in a tree near the off-leash dog area parking lot (the tree was located on the opposite side of a fence with barbed wire near the top with signs saying 'U.S. Property'.) This hawk was interesting as it's front side was heavily orange colored, although when it took flight, I could see the red tail very clearly. I will try to post a photograph later for those interested.

I also saw a Merlin fly over the soccer field, but was not able to see if it landed.
