No Snowy Owl today, but a Long-eared Owl at Washtucna. Wild Turkey and Eurasian Collared Doves were harder to track down than normal. Varied Thrush common in the Russian-olives. SR 26 near MP 67 had a large flock of Horned Larks (300+) that included at least 3 SNOW BUNTINGS and 1 LAPLAND LONGSPUR. Single Snow Buntings were seen at two other locations along the highway east and west of this location. Few Rough-legged Hawks along SR 26 going east of Othello, but several along Cunningham Road on the way back.
