Hello out there...

I have regular Anna's thru the winter 3~...

1 - Does anyone know if they actually nest in their territory, where their food source is, or do they tend to do it away? I

2 - Is there anything to put out besides food/habitat to entice them to nest?

I have seen them pluck the down from my Japanese anemoes and then fly away. I am on a quarter acre - is there a way to encourage them to "build on site"?

I have had Bewicks', flickers, bushtits, robins...any suggestions?
