Hi Tweeters,

Five of us spotted the Bohemian Waxwing this morning around 10:15 am at the
north end of the P & R lot off 65th by the entrance to Magnuson Park. We
ran into Michael Hobbs who was running in a cross country race taking place
in the area around the tennis courts where the Bohemian was previously
spotted. We scanned the area anyway before heading over to the P & R lot
mentioned in Carol Stoner's (no relation) post on Wed. Jan. 9th. The
Bohemian Waxwing was in the hawthorns at the northwest end of the lot
amongst numerous robins, cedar waxwings and house finches and was visible
from the parking lot. As described in previous posts, the Bohemian Waxwing
was larger and more plump than the Cedar Waxwing with dark gray belly,
rufous undertail coverts and white bars on the leading edge of the wing.
The Bohemian Waxwing was a life bird for 4 of us.
