Must be the season of flocking Western Meadowlarks. I had 28 in my yard this morning.

Today, Tina and I birded in Snohomish County between Stanwood and Everett. We encountered a tight flock of about 70 Western Meadowlarks along 36th Avenue (Olson Road) between Pioneer Highway and Norman Road south of Stanwood. I don't recall ever seeing a flock of this size.
