Greetings, all,

A few minutes ago, I saw an adult RED-TAILED HAWK trailing jesses
soaring over 19th Ave., E., near E. Aloha in Seattle. Several crows
were harassing the hawk, which I last saw moving east toward the
arboretum area. Feel free to pass this on to falconers.

Earlier today, I saw a DARK-EYED JUNCO with a white tertial or inner
secondary on its left wing near 19th Ave., E., and E. Mercer St.

And while I have you, four of Seattle Audubon Society's Bird Watch
students and I saw the BOHEMIAN WAXWING in Seattle's Magnuson Park
Saturday between 3 and 4 p. m., until a photographer flushed it and the
CEDAR WAXWINGS and AMERICAN ROBINS from the hawthorns where they had
been feeding south of the tennis courts. The birds flew west and
disappeared.

Cheers,

Alan Grenon
