Hi tweeters,

We had a really busy yard this morning. There wasn't anything rare, but I
was surprised by three species using the feeders for the first time:

1) a Yellow-rumped Warbler, repeatedly visiting both the suet and seed
feeders

2) a Bewick's Wren, one of the residents in the yard, but this time picking
at the apple suet.

3) a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, very quietly hover-gleaning and eating from the
peanut suet for long stretches.

Is anyone else getting kinglets and wrens eating suet? (Not sure if this is
unusual, weather-related, or if I should just pay more attention :-) )

Good birding,
