I made a late morning stop at Fay Bainbridge State Park on the southeast
side of Bainbridge Island. Along with a few Mew Gulls working a rip
offshore was a lone Red Phalarope. I heard of some significant winds in
the straits of Juan de Fuca yesterday. However, I didn't see any other
pelagic-type bird during my viewing.
