Hi Everyone,

The following link - http://www.tubbsphoto.com/-/tubbsphoto/detail.asp?photoID=5487911&cat=38975 - shows an image of an immature eagle taken Sunday at the mouth of the Cedar River. We were scoping the gulls and they all took flight. This bird was the reason why. It flew directly (and low) overhead and offered a great chance to get a closeup in flight - in fact, it was so close the whole bird did not fit in the frame. I snapped off three quick shots and this was the best. I would figure this bird as probably a third year bird, due to the full yellow bill and markings.
